The
hotels in Lenggries are mostly situated in the main part of the village -
on the other side of the river from the ski slopes.
The town itself is also officially classed as a "Luftkurort" - a resort where people stay to take advantage of the healthy climate - and has its own sanatorium as well as a number of wellness facilities.
